Hello everyone, My name is Ángela, I’m 33 years old, and I have a 7-year-old son, Ian. We’re from Colombia and we came to Spain 5 years ago to escape the violence and conflict back home. Over the years, I’ve usually managed to get by and pay for rent, bills, and food. I’ve worked cleaning houses, in restaurant/hospitality jobs, caring for the elderly, making home-delivery meals… we’ve never gone hungry, but surviving and running a household as a single mom is really tough. I’m going to keep fighting for my son and for myself, but at the moment it’s becoming an uphill battle, so I truly appreciate your support. It gives us a little breathing room.
